Back from the Farm Chicks show in Spokane...it was a long journey, but so worth it. We arrived in Spokane at about 1am in the motor home and slept in the parking lot at the fairgrounds to be first in line Friday morning. My sweetie rode up on his motorcycle to help unload and set up...then went home on Friday afternoon. We had little gifts in our spaces of the newest copy of Country Living Magazine and some delicious cupcakes from the Farm Chicks Teri and Serena...who by the way are the nicest women I have ever met. There was a great group of talented vendors with some of the most incredible displays...spaces filled literally to the rafters with unique and wonderful merchandise. From the very primitive and rustic to frilly and girly to sophisticated european. I met Heather Bullard from Present Past Collection, one of the sweetest women I have met in a long time, her husband even made an extra trip to fetch me some breakfast...thank you so much Heather and husband for all of your help!!! My dear friend Joy of Auntie Joys was right next to me...our friends Lisa and Isabel of Tickled Pink across from us as well as Vicki and Beth, Gossamer Designs, Sue from Bella Shabby...all from Oregon. The Flutterby Girls from Yakima did a wonderful display meshed with the Garden Gals, they put up a lovely old porch surround up in their space that I would have loved to take home with me!!! I re-connected with a customer from way back who has since moved to Spokane and had a space right accross from me....thank you Jennifer, Kay and Jami for all of your help...I look forward to seeing you next year and the promised cocktails at Jami's house!!! My friends Susie Wheeler, Pink Lemonade and Lulu were outside...the weather was brutal for the vendors outside on Friday and Saturday, but Sunday was sunny and warm. There were at least 500 people in line Saturday morning and steady crowds for hours...it was a fantastic show with such great energy and loads of positive feedback. Thank you to my devoted customer who traveled far and wide I appreciate you all and look forward to seeing you always...and to my new customers and friends I had a ball and look forward to seeing you soon...I can't wait until next year!!! I didn't get much opportunity to walk around since I was so busy, and really only got photos of my space Saturday morning. Here are the photos I took of my space and the others were taken by Heather Bullard, Lulu, and others...enjoy!!

Cindy,
Your space looked wonderful! It was so crowded when we were there I didn't get a chance to say hello - craziness! I adored your slip covered chairs. I have a question for you...do you ever do custom slipcovering? Welcome home!

AHa! So that was YOU in that motorhome in the parking lot, Cindy! We thought you just got there brighter and earlier than we did at 6:30 AM Friday....I had no idea you'd camped out there all night! We pulled in right behind you, in the white Avalanche with the gargantuan trailer behind it.
Your booth was darling, as usual, and I didn't even see it until Sunday afternoon I was so busy in mine. What a great show!
